Power to Arrest-Guard Card
Power to arrest training required by the State of California, necessary for all licensed security officers to obtain a Guard Card.
Firearm Card Training
The State of California approved course on the use and carrying of a firearm while working as a uniformed security officer.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
All guards are required to have 32 hours of Mandatory and Elective courses taken within 180 days of starting work.
PSO Training
A PSO Proprietary Security Officer must complete a 16 hours course within the first six months of receiving the PSO registration. |
Baton Training
An 8 hour state required course for the carrying and use of a side-handle baton as prescribed by the State of California.
ASP Baton
Expandable straight baton. Training required by the State of California.
Pepper spray/Mace
A 2 hour course that is required for all security officers who carry Pepper Spray while on duty.
